Our Congregation’s Name
Our Purpose
A Christ-Centered Church
We are a Christ-centered, confessional congregation holding the historic Lutheran faith. We value faithfulness in adhering to the Holy Scriptures in doctrine and practice.
A Biblical Church
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God. We use the Bible as the sole authority in all of our Christian doctrines or teachings. We believe as Scripture says, “that man is saved by God’s grace through faith in Christ as our Lord and Savior.”
A Word and Sacrament Church
We gather together regularly for worship and to hear the Word of God taught in its truth and purity. We believe in God’s precious and powerful Means of Grace, including the Sacrament of the Altar and the Sacrament of Holy Baptism.
A Confessional Church
We believe, teach, confess, and practice individually and as a congregation, the Lutheran Confessions as contained in the Book Of Concord as a true, concise, and correct exposition of God’s Word.

The Good Shepherd’s Role in Our Church
The Lord is our shepherd; we shall not want. He has created His church to be a green pasture, a place of rest. Here, He provides the still waters of baptism. He restores our soul with His body and blood in the Lord’s Supper. He brings us into His Church, a haven of comfort, and rests in the valley of the shadow of the death of the world. His Word guides and comforts us like a shepherd’s staff. He continues to give us His good gifts, much more than we need so that our cup runs over. He has given His life for us, His sheep so that we will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
